Inspector General St Peter Group

Peter finished his full-time appointment as a Director of Operations at Jacobs Engineering in November 2015 is now working for his own company as a consultant on Defence Procurement and Logistics. Prior to Jacobs he was an Army Officer for 34 years with appointments in engineering, logistics operations and communications.

Peter became a freemason in 1980, initiated by his father in East Lancashire. He joined his Regimental Lodge St Eligius 8295 (REME) shortly after. He was the first Metropolitan Grand Sword Bearer in 2003 and was appointed Deputy Grand Sword Bearer in 2004. He was Chairman of the Circuit of Service Lodges from 1999 until 2015 and is currently President. He is also a Wiltshire Mason and was Provincial Grand Sojourner in Royal Arch and Provincial Grand Sword Bearer in 2004 in the Knights Templar Wiltshire and Dorset Grand Preceptory. In 2009, he was appointed Assistant Metropolitan Grand Master as well as Grand Sword Bearer UGLE. In September 2015, he was appointed Inspector General St Peter Group of London Chapter Rose Croix.

Stuart was born and raised in Cumbria at age 18yrs he joined the Metropolitan Police Service. Stuart spent the whole of his service in the uniform branch working in St Johns Wood, Paddington, Kensington, Chelsea, Southall and Acton and retired in 2008.

Initiated in 1992 into Athol Lodge 5241 and Exalted into Athol Royal Arch Chapter in 1994. A member of several other Orders all of which are London units except for one which is Middlesex.

Perfected into the Ancient and Accepted Rite in 1996 in the Salus Populi Chapter No.999. A member of two other Rose Croix Chapters the Earl of Lathom No.137 and Castle Gates No. 653, received the 31 Degree in 2019.
